Ventura are area enjoys low cost permitting for solar projects. Ventura county is no cost for residential solar permits. The City of Ventura offers low cost permit fee and a grant program that eliminates the fee on application. Local government  and managers recognize the importance of Solar, Renewables, and Energy Efficiency

The Ventura region enjoys the involvement of several noteworthy groups and organizations, who are facilitators, guides, and catalysts for the urban revitalization toward sustainable communities.
